First Gargoyle

We picked this girl up yesterday.  Shes not really sexable yet but we are hopeing to will her into feminitiy(sp).  Anyways,  she has some nice orange and red comming in where her head meets her body and we're starting to see hints else where in the stripe, so she should have a nice colored stripe to go with her dark background.  Shes only a few grams, i havent weighed her but she feels like 2 grams or so maybe 3. 


Chahouas are next on my list.  I didnt plan on getting gargoyles until later i was going to get chahouas first but i got this gal for about $100 at a pet store... quite a surprise!

Nice, I don't have any yet, but I definately will some day.  I am also looking into chahouas, I love them.  I can't wait to get some of each.

I like it a lot.  Sounds like me.  I was really thinking i wanted some chewies but I saw a gargoyle at a show today and I'm in love   I'll probably end up calling the guys to get it.

Ha Ha, sounds like your wish/want list is about the same as mine. I'm getting my first gargoyle on Friday from Mike Feit (Grand Scale Gecko's)[I must note that Amanda is getting her first gargoyle than as well  ]. Chahouas are next on the list (maybe leachie's depending on availability when I have the money). But I have a feeling that those will be much further down the road.

Oh yeah, I will definately end up with some leachies.  I guarentee down the road, I will end up with the whole Rhac species in my collection.

Lol, I know exactly what you are saying.  I'm pretty stuck on rhacs right now.  I will probably end up with most of them.  I love these guys.

I totally am hooked on rhacs. I used to be a die hard snake lover but when I first got my cresteds I knew they were the best lizards I had ever had but once I found my first clutch in the nest box I knew they were the pet I had been searching for. I love leachies but they are too much $$$ for me. I want to get a gargoyle very soon  I like the reticulated but I love yours too.

Lol! I know exactly what you are saying! I was pretty much strictly snakes... Ever since I got into cresteds I just can't stop with these guys.  They are definately a favorite of mine.

ahhh, i love it! i was soooo torn between getting a gargoyle or a crested.? to decide, i went to the reptile expo, and not one gargoyle to be found, but a few cresteds. so that's what i bought. i still really want a gargoyle though. i really like the Cat, Leaf Tails and Skunk (or White Stripe) Geckos. please keep taking pictures for me!

HzRdS where did you get the garg from mike at net or at a show. Mike is a great guy and wont do you wrong. and has awesome geckos. would recomend him to anyone.

Gargs are awesome, im definatly gunna get one soon! At the reptile store in Winnipeg a normal baby garg is about 150$ Canadian. There pretty nice though!

I emailed him. Yeah he's always been good to me, I've bought 10 hatchlings, that garg and my roaches from him on 3 different transactions. I'd recommend him 100%
