Feeding Young Ones

So I picked up a trio of baby geckos the other day and have only offered straight CGD. I haven't seen them eat, but they're all active and what not. Am I just paranoid? Should I start feeding pinhead crickets?
Also, I'm having a tough time mixing CGD consistantly. I'm only mixing enough to fit one snapp cap, since all 3 are in a large kritter keeper, at least until the end of the week. Anyone have a trick or tip to get an accurate ratio?

They're probably eating it just not when you're watching them. They will eat it at night.
The ratio doesnt have to be perfect. I dont even measure anymore. It will look watery when you mix it and it doesnt really gel until the next day. I use tops to milk jugs for babies. Just a little water & some cgd and they will eat it.

I guess my question is this...should I rely solely on CGD for nutition for my young ones? I wasn't planning on introducing crickets into their diet for another few months.

Good idea to do that and let them get use to cgd, then they will take it readily as adults. I hardly even feed my adults crickets, maybe once or twice a month.

Baby cresties have very very small stomaches... so you probably just don't notice food missing...
