The male will go after her and bite her neck to hold her in place.

Do they tend to make marks on their necks? Like cuts or anything?

sometimes i have seen marks on them. and sometimes you will see marks on other places too. one of my females lost the tip of her tail from the male biting her and working his way up to her neck

Ok, that's what I figured. Just wanted to make sure, so when we put them together we know what to expect.

I thought it was like that but i just wanted to make sure so that i'm not mistaking it for fighting. lol ok... SO a good time to remove her is when she's got marks on her.

There's no need to remover her. Just be sure she has a moist place to lay her eggs. The best way is paper towel or newspaper substrate and have a rubbermaid or sterlite container with moist peat moss (moist not soggy) that way you wont have to search the enclosure for the eggs.

Now hold on a minute. I've seen the rape thing too BUT I have also seen the females willingly submit to and even go over to the male to mate. Some tail wiggling action and then tucking their heads right under the male's head at which point the male does his aggressive mating thing.

I havent seen that but I've only seen breeding a few times. I'm usually in bed by the time they start. I know when they're breeding now because i hear them jumping around then i hear one squeaking for a couple minutes.
