Crestied Tank

Thought I would share a picture of the tank set-up I have for two juveniles I'm getting. I plan on putting them in a big tank with lots of foilage, wood, vines and a background when they reach a good size.

the only thing i would add, off the top of my head, is some of those bendy vines.

Yeah I actually have some of those. I wasn't sure how I was going to attach them to the tank though. I though about just using a hot glue gun and gluing them to the sides in an interesting way.

Very nice, the natural tanks with paper towels always look nice. Something about the contrast of white and green.

Looks great! Lots of variety with different leaves and climbing surfaces. Your cresteds will love it!

I really like the look.  I have been toying with dumping the vivarium and going to paper and artificial foliage.  After seeing your set up I think I will be giving it a try the next time I have to do a full tear down cleaning.  Plus I get the added bonus of being able to give my cresteds about an extra 4" of cllimbing height with all the rock and soil removed from the tanks.

So far this set-up has been doing really well for me. It's easier to monitor how much their eating and pooing and all that. Not to mention easy clean up .

When I eventually move them to their adult tank I'll probably keep the smae theme but with more foliage, vines, background, ect. I may add a little humid hide box thing too they they can retreat into and dig around in if they feel like it, probably something rocky looking on the outside.

clean up has never been a problem with the ecoearth substrate, real easy to see the messes.  The biggest problem here in Ga. is the white fuzz that will grow almost overnight from food tracked on their feet.  Plus with eggs on the way, I don't want to run the risk of "growing" gnats or other small crawlies.
