Ok, I am horrible with plants.? I know nothing about plants, but someone just gave me this and I was wondering what kind of plant it is and if it's safe to put in with cresties.? Also, if you know anything about it, such as if it needs alot of light or high humidity, etc.

Thanks

Even if you don't know EXACTLY what it is, do you know of anything that looks like that, that is toxic or anything?  Basically, do you think I can put it in there if you know what it is or not.

I have no idea what it is.  I would'nt take the chance on putting it in with my geckos.  Are there any plant forums? maybe some of them will know what it is.

Ok, I'll definately wait until I actually know what it is before I put it in with my cresties.

sorry, I'm not a plant person...
tho maybe knowing the scale would help.
It looks like a common house plant to me.  Oh! Look up Melissa Kaplan's safe plant page.  (sorry, I can't find the link - i think it's anapsid.org, but I'm not sure).   That should have a complete list of safe & toxic plants for herps.
Good luck.

It looks kind of like an anthurium to me.  Has it flowered since you've gotten it?  If so what did they look like?

No, they haven't flowered.? Just a plain plant. Are all these plants that have been mentioned safe?  I looked up the anthurium pictures and I actually know what those are.  It's definately not that.
