Ok So I know theres alot of heat on the whole creamsicle thing. So after seeing that this was a form topic I figured hell I'll kill 2 birds with one stone. I've never owned a creamsicle before but I'm under the impression that if one were to define creamsicle (when talking about a cg pattern) It would be something like A light orange backround with a cream colored fire or Harli pattern correct? I also was wondering how Orange does one need to be? I recall once (in Reptiles I believe) I Seen an Awesome gecko that was labeled as Creamsicle but the backround color was a very bright red.So I that a true Creamsicle? Also I have what I believe to be a creamsicle (by my definition) Its an animal I bought early this year as a potential creamsicle.Let me know what you think.
                                                                                          thanks
                                                                                                Matt

well on my monitor, the color of that geckos is yellow. so based on that, the answer is NO. it is not a creamsicle. but it is one hell of a gecko. the color needs to be a bright orange. yours does have a great Cream back, but it is not a creamsicle. im sure with the right pairing you can possible get creamsicle offspring in a couple of generations. dont ask me that pairing though, because i can only guess

my opinion:
creamsicle: NO
killer gecko: YES

A creamsicle should be orange with a cream back.   Your gecko is actually more of a tan color.  The cream on the back is the most important (and hardest to find) part of the equation, so your gecko is definitely a nice find.

Take a look at the Creamsicle page (link below).  I just updated it yesterday and it actually talks about geckos like yours.  It also links to my Creamsicle project album...definitely take a look there too.

Ok thanks for the replys guys. My gecko is a little on the yellow side (which is why I asked) but It seems to have gained more of a orangish color since I aquired it ( Its hard to capture in the pics I think the flash kinda washes it out) You're creamsicle male on the creamsicle page did not realize its full potential until 18 months. At  7 months (roughly the age of mine) it was much lighter so my question is this....    Between now and 18 months do you believe a gecko such as mine could develop a richer orange color?

Hi Matt,

Those pics don't mean that he didn't turn orange until 18 months...that's just how old he happened to be when I took that photo.? He was that same color by the time he was 9-10 months old.? ?In the photo at 7 months, he was just starting to show some orange.

I have a couple geckos just like yours and judging by the ones I've raised up, the really white cream markings (like your gecko has) are generally indicative of a gecko that's going to be more of a yellow-tan color.?

That said, creamsicles don't start to develop orange until they're 6-12 months old, so who knows? It could end up a very nice creamsicle...you just need to raise it up and see what happens.? I don't even try to make guesses like that with my own Creamsicle bloodline. :-)
