Hey everyone  I'm new around here but have been looking over all the various posts/threads and this seems like a friendly place for people to come for advise and share ideas etc, always good to see! Iv'e been keeping cresties for almost two years now. I started out with a trio of juvies, one red male and female and one harlequin. Unfortunately I lost the red male due to stress of the move. Then when my girls were ready for breeding I purchased a lovely olive/fire male for them, they have been together for a while and iv'e recently had my first clutches from both females hatch and the babies are stunning! I also have quite a few eggs cooking cant wait to see what else I end up with. I hope to put together a high quality breeding colony and work on various projects it's all fun and exciting stuff! anyways enough babbling here are my trio (pictures of young soon to follow) the bottom female usually goes very dark but she wasn't fired up for this picture (which doesn't do them justice)  |

yea really....I have never seen a red like that. Most that I have seen are more like a brownish red or maroon. That gets my vote as the best red crested ever

Thanks for the comments guys, the photo has not been tampered with if anything it's not doing her justice, she literally looks like a tamatoe sometimes  She's almost 2 years now  I'm hoping to find a nice red male for her soon |

I like the fringe too. I think fringe is really nice on dark geckos. I love dark geckos with really light contrast.

the white spots behind the back legs ? ...yes..i think this red one is really nice...is not a common red for a cresties...but i prefer the first ..if i need to buy only one of them i buy for sure the first ...if i can buy 2...ok...the choice is for the first and the red |

The red female cost me about ?75 i think? i'm not quite sure now it was a while ago and she was bought as a sexed juvie along with the other female! I have to admit i'm quite partial to mocha/creams etc, nice fringing is always nice I cant wait to grow on the babies and see how they turn out |
