I got her way back in the summer time, but haven't posted any pics of her so thought it was about time
She is currently burmating but came out for a quick little photo shoot.
Good bye!
Thanks!!!

there are two types, Columbian, which have the bad tempers, they have one loreal scale in front of the eye and the Argentine..which have two loreal scales in front of the eye and have a line behind the ear..they are the tamer ones....this one looks to be an Argentine...very nice

These tegu's are supposed to be a bad tempered animals but I have never dealt with them personally. Are they as bad as they are made out to be?
I have a friend that has about 8 adults and none of them are aggressive. His kids play with them all the time. The only problem with his is when you hold them their claws dig into you.

There are several different types of Tegus, mine is supposed to be a Chacoan Black and white (a sub species of Argentines). Then there is the Colombians, the goldens, reds, and blues. If you want a good pet stick with the Argentines or blues
Thanks Guys, she is a big sweet heart

Tegu's are nice but I think I would go for an Ackie or maybe a green tree monitor if I were so inclined to head that direction. (and I am NOT so inclined)
