Aren't they relatives to the Solomon Island Ground Boas?

That's the first snake Katey fell in love with.

yup, the candoia genus has both ground and tree boas.  this species is from papua new guinea.  the viper boas (candoia aspera aspera) are pretty cool too, they look like death adders.

i don't know much about any of them, but the solomon island ground boas look cool too.

well, i guess i like everything!  those little ones are sweet!  i really like the pattern on #4...  would they make good pets?  can you keep two or three in one cage??  are they active during the day, say, if you had climbing wood and vines?  thanks!

there is no #4, do you mean the fourth pic down?  the striped one has a tremendous appetite and is growing fast.
the only thing about them is that most are wild caught so you have to treat for mites and things, and they also eat lizards so it takes a lot of patience to get them switched over to mice.  they require a lot of humidity, but don't like it real hot.  sometimes they soak a lot and poop in the water dish so you have to change it frequently.  you can keep 2 or 3 together, they don't require a lot of space and don't move around a whole lot.  they have low metabolism.  you may not see them climbing around but if you check on them every couple of hours, you will notice them in a different part of the cage, so they're not completely inactive.  to be safe, you would need to have them all be the same sex even though they're a little difficult to breed, they have a LOT of babies that are fragile and need to eat tiny frogs or lizards.
