...Does my gecko have broken bones?

I was cleaning out my 1 month old cage today and basicly took everything out. I had all the fake plants out except one which he was hanging in. Then when I was wipeing the glass he jumped out and landed on the straight glass. He stated going nuts running around and jumping. I took him out so I could put everything back and get him un stressed then he suddenly leaped and I luckily caught him. When I was done I tried to check him for broken ribs down near the stomach and he started jumping. Even after I put him back in his tank he run into the corners and try to climb the walls. running his nose into them. Please how can I tell if he seriously hurt him self, or have there bones evolved to takeing falls like that without sustaining and really damage?

Vet. Now.
He's probably OK, you might have just startled him. I've seen these guys take four foot falls and be alright, but you might want to take him to the vet just to make sure and give yourself some peace of mind.

You should TOTALLY take him to the vet. But I think that he probably doesn't have any broken bones. As long as your feeding him some nice CGD, his bones are probably really strong, and that it would take a really big fall to hurt him.

Ok he's seemed to calm, I know that the reason hes proably stressed is that I washed the cage clean of proably all scents. Just wondering how long till he re adabts to his home. Everything's in the same place but the scent is gone. Is it like hes adapting to a new home all over again?

i don't believe a vet visit is necessary at this point. their bodies are built to handle falls.

I'm assuming he didn't fall from over 3-4 feet, if so, the odds that anything is broken is VERY low. He probably just got freaked out from the cleaning and stayed stressed for a bit.

Ok guys he seems to be doing fine except one thing. He has alot of shed stuck under or on his nails. Also a little on his belly. My humidity usually only raises when I spray. So its generally around 50% if I put saran wrap on half of the top of the tank would that take care of the stuck shed problem?

Closing up the ventilation area would help hold in more humidity, yes.....just don't get carried away, 1/2 way should be a safe place to start i think.
Glad he is doing fine.
Do you know how to get the bit of dried shed off? If not, put him in a small container (like a small tupperware) with a little bit of water in the bottom of it (just a little), after a few minutes you should be able to help him get it off using your fingers/tweezers/Qtip.

I try to gently prod my critters awake before cleaning. Let them move about a bit, then let them run loose, or put them in another enclosure until you're finished.

I don't advise letting him run loose. They move fast and can get under things faster than you can grab them.

The gecko is probably fine. You wouldn't believe some of the crashes and leaps (and landings) we see around here. These geckos are designed to jump...and that includes landing too.
Their bones are pretty tough...I wouldn't worry.
I definitely wouldn't waste my money taking him to a vet unless he has trouble walking.
