Anyone know if it's safe or effective to use the following product (or similar product) to control the growth of slime in my Waterfall with my cresties.  The site says it's safe for fish, snails, and amphibians, but not for crustaceans. Here's a link to the product I'm considering: http://www.pondcare.com/en_us/productCategory.asp?categoryname=WaterClarity

I'm not to sure but I wouldn't take the chance. There is a big difference between it being good drinking water and fish water (the fish have filters).
I have that problem to with a water fall in one of my enclosures I have to clean it out once if not twice a week. I'm considering just building one of my own that is easier to clean.

If I remember correctly t-rex or some body sells some stuff that is suppose to clean or keep it clean longer. I would go check out a petstore first before getting that.

Hope that helps.
