hey guys. Quick question for ya.

Whats the big difference between the Pine Isle chewies and the Mainland chewies? Is one generally more pricey than the other? I recently took interet in these guys and i think i like the Mainlands....although i get confused because if i have it correctly i like the brighter colored ones which i think were mainlands.

Oh one more thing, how do you exactly pronouce Chahoua?

I've tried to figure it out for a while, but I still can't tell.  It's too difficult.

ah! thanks!

So there is absolutley no difference (i.e. feeding habits, husbandry, temps & humidity) other then the area it came from?

if thats true than why dont they just call them all chahouas...?

There has to be SOME difference, dontchya think?

hmm. Thanks for the info.

Interesting about the in-breeding thing for the mainlands...i didnt know that.

I plan on gettting one in the near future...maybe a little after christmas time. (i need to save some money, and do some research) As of now i have a couple of questions:

is it better to get them as adults or as babys? I dont plan on breeding so im only getting one male, just to add to my collection.

one more...is it better for them to be in screen or glass enclosures?

Thanks for helping!
