when is the best moment durig day to take crested shots for have a good rappresentation about the colour of the gecko?

Lol... I know this is kinda late but nobody else said anything... Usually the best time to take pictures is obviously when they are fired up, which is usually at night when they get a little more active.

holy crap, i never even seen this thread.
the icon never turned read until smith just posted to tell me their was a new topic, odd

but anyway, like smith said, its best to get them fired up. some of mine fire up during the day, some fire up at night, so it depends on the individual in question

If you're trying to get them fired up for photos during the day, you can put them in a deli container; mist them lightly; and place the deli container in the dark for 15 minutes or so. It doesn't work all the time, but I would say that it does the job 75% of the time or so. Easier than trying to take pictures in the middle of the night.

here there are
i try to take pics of them every week for see their color change  :wink:
.some of them don't have a really strong color...
jingle have more spots every weeks...i hope he/she will be a dalmatian in a cople of months  :wink:

jungle is definitly harly i think..and i hope this kind of green-lavander don't change..i like him/her

jenga is every daymore contrasted...he/she put more brown-orange every week...

joke is a simple flame, but i like his personality (he/she jumping ALL the time.is impossible take pics of him/her  :wink: ) and i hope the color change more to red

...i love crested..they are one of my favourite geckos... :roll:

Those are some nice geckos... I think jenga is my favorite. I love the dark with the light contrast.

...i see them now...the color is really different...probably mine are the 25% that don't use to fire without light  Wink
...i love them...and i will try to take pics with their really color  Grin
...jenga is nice because is really contrasted...but jingle have a NICE red coloration....and during night joke look like cream...
cresties are really strnge.they cheage every week!

Oh yeah... They will change colors a few times before they become adults.  They their color will stay pretty much the same besides being fired up and not.
