OK, so here's the gecko...
Note: This is a ten week old gecko and it's already showing killer red. Not only is it a red harlequin, it's going to be a really nice one! This gecko is actually a Red Harlequin Partial Pinstripe from my Red Harlequin Pinstripe project.
How to Play1. Guess how many crested geckos hatch here in August and September.
To enter, just post your guess here, in this thread. One post/entry per household...and don't try to cheat!!!
2. Once the contest is over, I will post the winning number and immediately lock the thread. I will not go through every entry to look for the winner(s), so you will need to check back here to see what the winning number is.
Important!Locking the thread will prevent new entries, but if you modify your post after midnight on October 8, 2007 (Contest End Date), your entry will be disqualified!
3. If you got the number correct, EMAIL me (via the contact page on Ciliatus.com or ACReptiles.com) to notify me that you've won. I will ignore any instant messages sent via the forums about this contest, so please make sure to email me.
Eligibility 1. You must be a resident of the continental United States.
Don't worry, Canadians. I'll be arranging something with Northern Gecko for you guys in the near future!
2. You must be an
active member of the Ciliatus.com Discussion Forums.
By active, that means you need to make a minimum of twelve (12) posts between now and the end of the contest (10/8/2007). If I see that you're just posting nonsense to run up your post count, I may remove your post. You all know that I'm fair, but I'm not going to give a $500 gecko to someone because they're posting garbage on my forums.
3. You must be 18 years of age or older.
If you're not 18, you can still enter...but if you win, I'll need to speak with a legal guardian before I can ship a gecko to you.
Contest Terms & Conditions1. There will be only one grand prize winner!
If more than one person wins, a tie breaker will be held. Whoever wins the tie breaker will get the Red Harlequin and the first 3 runners up will get a $100 credit toward the purchase of any crested gecko, which will be good for six months. If there are more than three runners up, there will be another tie breaker (rock paper scissors?) to narrow it down to three.
If nobody guesses the correct number, we will see who the closest guess is. Someone WILL win the gecko!
2. Winner is responsible for actual shipping cost.
Shipping will run anywhere from $25-50 depending where you live.
3. The gecko will only be shipped directly to the winner.
If you win the gecko, but cannot accept it for any reason, the gecko will go to the next runner up. I will not drop ship the gecko for any reason. If you wish to sell the gecko, that's fine, but you will have to do that after you receive it.
4. If I find out you've registered or entered under more than one username, I will not only disqualify you, but I will come after your friends and family (just kidding). 5. By entering the contest, you are stating that you've read this ENTIRE post word for word and that you agree to the rules, terms, conditions...basically everything I said.
