Most all geckos lay two eggs at a time... I have never heard of a crested laying three eggs. I think that they can only have two "spaces" available at a time?

Cheers,

it has happened, not to me personally though. most the time they lay the thrid within one a day after the first clutch. not sure why they don't all at once, and i can't remember if all the eggs ended up hatching or not. sorry Tongue

Last clutch Lacuna laid 3 eggs. The first egg she laid in the morning and the other 2 that evening. I was going to post to see if anyone else has had this happen to them. The first egg had a dent but it looks nice and round now.

41 grams empty

I have a female that weighs about 40 grams and has either laid infertile eggs
or only one at a time.
With that said,of the 20 crested adults that i have she's the only "wild" one
and incidently the only one out of my group missing their tail.

....I wonder if temperment plays a role in if and how many fertile clutches a female will lay in a season?
I know that stress along with proper calcium intake are key factors, but she has been my only "bad apple"
out of my colony.

i would like too see what your "wild one" looks like
