Well, I think I'm probably way too high, but in order to avoid doubling up on somebody else's number, I choose 14 for my lucky number. Now if I can just figure out how to delay Anthony's plane for a day or two in Daytona, I just might have a chance.

That's a pretty good idea for a contest.

I was thinking though, shouldn't the guesses be kept private? Especially if more than one person can guess the same number. It just seems like you'll get the "Price is Right" effect where people will under/over cut someone else's guess. Plus some people in here may know you better and know what your average hatch is or even just how many breeders you have. If it's public I'm going to do what most people are probably going to do and that is to what until almost the last minute and make the same guess as someone who I think is closest.

You can use whatever strategy you like, but I can tell you first hand that it will boil down to luck.? My hatch rates vary too much from one week to the next and incubation times vary tremendously.? Nobody (including myself) could possibly know the number ahead of time.

I modified my post no problem

She was referring to the rule that says "If you modify your post, you're disqualified!"? Smiley

I'll go with 11. Unless I missed it nobody else said 11, so that's as good a reason as I can come up with to justify a guess.

I would have to guess 36 will hatch. Sounds high but I have my reasons.
