Interested in seeing everybody's leachie photos along with their local.  I just wanna see what sizes, colors, and patterns go with each local.  Or maybe this is a dumb question and any color and pattern can go with any local.  Anyhow, I'm just interested to see everyone's leachianus collection being as I don't have anything to speak myself, though hopefully in the near future.  So any suggestions on what local to look for, what breeder to buy from would be very helpful.  Thanks for any feedback.

I only have one group of Leachies.  They are Nuu Ami leachies that I purchased from Steve and Kelli Hammack.  They were offspring that they produced a year ago.  So mine are still young.  I believe Nathan Hall has the adults now.  I have found that it's really hard to get a definite locality, unless you buy from a reputible breeder and even then sometimes they can't guarantee the local.  It's becoming similiar to the Chondro world in finding a definitive pair from the same local - near impossible!

I can track the heritage of the adults that I bought my babies from, therefore I can say with certain assurance that mine are indeed Nuu Ami's.  Here's a pic of the group:

A good source for info of the different localities is http://www.giantgeckos.com/

Hope this is helpful,

I love leachies, but I'm still working on getting more cresteds before them.

I would rather just have a small collection of each,

someone on these forums had a good idea too have a giant display tank with all the female species. You could create it out of a glass walk in shower or even seal a whole room off. Maybe even have a tree native to New Caledonia, and use that ree's leaf litter as the substrate.

that would be some project.

This is my 6 month old female Nuu Ana from Steve Cemelli. She is from Frank Fast's bloodlines so she is a pure.
