I absolutely LOVE crested geckos...don't get me wrong. But I'm kind of considering selling mine so I can get into chewies instead. Probably keep 1 pair of cresties (Thanatos and the new female I am getting, Opsis) and sell my youngins, as much as I don't want to. They would go quick too, I know that for sure. I need to stop this madness...lol! I'm in love with chewies...they are just perfect to me. What should I do?!?!

I love all the rhac's all of them have different things that i like about them. Chewies cost more. If you really like the chewies more than the cresteds then go with chewie.

It's totally up to your personal taste.  I love chewies, but they are expencive.  We got lucky, we got 2 chewies, 1 for $70, and the other for $125... The guy was getting out of geckos, so it was just really lucky.  I wouldn't get rid of all of my cresties to get a few chewies though.

Save up and get a chewie when you can.  Ya can never have enough Rhacs.  The philisophy in our house (whether its, geckos, chickens, ducks, orchids, frogs whatever) is 1 is good but 20 is better!! Grin

Now if someone could invent a 36 hour day things would be great.

Just curious since you were so close to switching, did you happen to know of people selling breeding sized chewies or were you just looking at getting some young ones?
