Your most exciting project...post pics and details (the more the better!)

This is probably my most exciting project right now. I chose to breed this odd tangerine colored (I was calling it pink, but tangerine is probably a better description) pinstripe female to this dark cream-backed pinstripe male so I could see how the "tangerine trait" (or whatever it is) would be passed onto the offspring.
On my original female, the tangerine color appears to be a wash that covers the entire gecko...even the white pinstripe scales.
Almost all the eggs from this pairing have hatched, so now it's just a matter of raising them up. So far, it looks like I got one or two with her color, but some of the others still have a feint tangerine-ish wash to them.
Here's a full pin from their first clutch...it's colored like dad, but with feint tangerine color apparent on the white of the tail and cream on the back.

A couple of the offspring from this pairing on your availables page were really impressive. If I hadn't been looking specifically for something else, I might have been very tempted.

Hi Gary,
I haven't ever offered anything from this pairing and probably won't for another year or so. You're thinking of some babies produced by that male and a different female (that I don't have a picture of).

That crestie is definitely droolworthy! I think that you have quite a knack for producing some killer geckos. Now if I could just figure out how to sneak them out of your house! Ha-ha!
Alrighty, here is the project that I'm most excited about. This isn't anything earth shattering to you established breeders, but I'm just getting my breeding pairs started, so I'm pretty happy about it. I'm working on a red harly pairing with Sherbert (NeoScales) and Dally (ACReptiles)

This probably won't seem thrilling to most of you, but I'm hoping to produce some full pins with the thicker fringier type of pinstriping since I haven't seen too many of them yet.? I have two partial pins with thicker striping, so I'll either hold back their most completely striped offspring or breed one of them to a full pin and see what comes out.? Here are the partial pins showing what I consider to be thick striping.

All of you have some really nice projects going on! I only have 5 adult breeder pairs right now, but I have about 10 more breeder pairs / trios that should be ready to pair up in the next few months. Not counting the red harly I got from AC.
Here's my favorites that are breeding now. The sire is first. He's a crowned chocolate patternless. The dam is a crowned Harlequin. The last pic is of a holdback hatchling. Sorry for the blurry pic of the hatchling. It wouldn't hardly stay still.

Very nice! I have a female that you need, lol. I'm actually not breeding for thicker pinstriping but it would be neat to see a full pin.

I'm excited by cream-backed cresteds.? ?
Down the road I hope to create some colorful, solid cream- or white-backed cresteds, potentially with different color pinstriping or perhaps cream-colored tiger patterns.
Here are some of my best (all from other breeders):

John,
I really like the group you're building here. The "lavender and cream" is an area where I'm also focusing some attention right now. I think we have an animal or two that are pretty closely related. Are most of these still too small to sex?

Well, I don't know how
exciting
it is, but I'm working in the direction of
GREENS
(sorry,
olive
; got to be scientifically correct)
GreenGuy; the most recent male added to the breeding group.... ,produced by Jeremy Gentile ?
One of my females, GreenGirl.? One of Anthony's spectacular geckos.

Dr. Alan, I'd love to see a full body shot of that green male if you've got one. I'm hoping for some green offspring myself from this guy, but I don't really have a good green female for him yet.

Well OK then.....? The first two are a couple of quick full body shots of the male in my original response.? BTW, the next two images of GreenGuy were made within minutes of each other this morning.? No color editing: I only adjust for contrast and brightness.? He was getting antsy and irritated with me, and trying to get away in the image where he's on the paper.
These are a couple of shots of another olive male.? This guy wasn't very fired up when I took these today.? At times he's as green as a four-leaf clover.

Postscript on the "green" geckos.? Since I had the camera out and since Anthony asked for lots of pictures and details, I thought I'd put up a few images of another up-and-coming
green
(oops, I meant OLIVE) crested gecko.? This is one of my favorite geckos.? I never have to ask myself, "Which one is that?", or refer to Degei to track her down.? She's not going to be large enough to breed until next season, but she clearly has potential.? Yes, I know that greens/olives are passe'.? But I still like them and that's really all that matters.
This is Logan.? Alex Hue produced her daddy, and Matt Parks produced the dam.

Just got my creamsicle male in from Anthony today and he's better than I expected?
.? I have this one, not sexable yet but I'm really hoping it's a female.? I'm not sure if you would call it a creamsicle.? It has the cream color down the back but but turns darker going up to the head and the sides are turning to an orange but still mostly yellowish.

I really like the cream backed one. That's what I'm looking for to pair up with my orange and yellow harley. Haven't been able to find one I can afford. Hope it turns out to be a female, should make some nice babies.

Hey, these are some outstanding cresteds that you have posted. I think my favorite is the one in the last picture , I love that stark white back and the lavender sides, awesome gecko. You said you got them from other breeders, just out of curiosity may I ask where you got them. With those geckos your sure to get some killer offspring, be sure to post pix of them, I'd be very interested to see what your breeders have produced. Again, thanks for the great pix.

I really like those "greens". I didn't like the olive ones when I first saw them, but I'm really liking them now. I guess it's that you don't see ones with so much "green" around... That & maybe the fact that the "gecko's always greener on the other side of the tank" (ok, cheesey I know...). I always ike what I don't have. LOL, guess I'll have to get some of them all. Haha, my wife will kill me.
